Avon Goodies

^_^v

I ordered some goodies from Avon website and they arrived safely today!

Got a couple of those supershock eyeliners in black after seein pixiwoo's video on youtube.

Spend over £12 and you get some free gifts too! I got that supershock mascara, the nail varnish and that shimmer body lotion all for free. : ) And if you spend over £20 you get free delivery. Great deal!

They look so neat in the packaging. Almost didn't want to open them up!

Thanks avon!
Brightened my day.  : )

**Bling bling french manicure**

Heya all,

Not made an update for a while! I've been ultra busy with uni work. It's been ridiculous!! Although the semester is nearly over so maybe I'll get a chance to make a couple more updates? No promises though. : D I'll make more of an effort when I graduate in July. That's a promise. :p

Here goes some pics of my latest nails:

Ok, a wee bit amateur-ish but hey that's all I've got time for right now! Nonetheless, they are still quite cute and sparkly. 8 )

The products I used: NYC 105A, No7 white from manicure set, and No7 top coat.

I love this stuff! I've had it for years. Great for layering and to add some bling, bling to your nails.

French Tips with a Twist

Heylo, : )

I thought I'd make a quick post to show you this nail design I did a few weeks ago.  Nothing too fancy.  Just a simple French manicure but with a wee bit more to it. ; )

Excuse the rubbish picture quality.  I took these photos with my camera on my phone.  (Nokia 5800)

So what I basically done was:

1. Paint the white tips to each nail.
2. Wait for it to dry.
3. Put a layer of top coat on.
4. Put the wee rhinestone on at the corner of each nail (apart from my thumbs where I put a cute, red flower on instead).
5. Wait for everything to dry.
6. Finally I painted a silvery, glitter nail polish with red dots on every nail.  :)

These are the products that I used:

(From left to right: No 7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in 05 Nail Tip Whitener, No 7 Stay Perfect Nail Colour in 20 Clear, Mosu [Some Japanse Make I bought on holiday last year], Nailene 3D Bedazzle)

No idea where I can buy this when it dries out since I don't think I'll ever actually use it all up. Lol.  Oh well, I'll worry about that when it actually happens!

Anyway, chow for now!

Barbie Nails! Plenty of Glitz and Plenty of PINK!

Just finished painting my nails with my new Models Own Nail Polish. :)

I used the colour "pastel pink" from the ice cream pastel set.  It's a very barbie like pink. I'm not really a big fan of pale pinks on its own so I decided to do it up a bit with some cute lilac/pink sparkles and some reflective rhinestones. : )

I used one base coat and round about 3 coats of the pastel pink to get it looking like this.  The nail polish dried really quick so I didn't need to wait around for too long before applying the next two coats.  There's nothing worse than using nail polish that takes forever to dry and you end up making a mess of it while waiting.  Once I finished applying the pastel pink I put a top coat on and before the top coat dried I sprinkled the sparkles on and applied the wee rhinestones at the bottom corner of each nail. : )  I sealed everything up with another layer of top coat and here's the final result:

The Magical First Post! : D *Sparkles* + Models Own Goodies

Finally set this long overdue beauty blog up!  I thought today would probably be an ideal day to set this blog up since I just received my Models Own parcel. :] I made good use of the current 50% off facebook offer and placed my first order with the website on Sunday.  (For anyone who doesn't know about the offer, the promotion is available until midnight on Friday for any orders over £20.)

I've heard plenty of good things about the brand but never actually got round to buying any.  As much as what I would've liked to buy the full set of nail varnish that they have (dreams)... I had to be a bit more economical since i'm still a poor student. (DAMN!)  So I settled with buying 10 nail polishes and 1 mascara. :] I'll get round to doing some swatches for you guys probably in the next week or so.

I am actually really pleased with the delivery time for my order.  I mean I placed the order on Sunday and I received an email saying that it has been dispatched on Monday and managed to get my hands on my goodies by today (Wednesday).  : D Super swift service! Definitely deserve a round of applause for that, especially since they must be really busy with this 50% off promotion on right now.  + The parcel came in a nice, sleek, black box.  In the parcel (apart from my lovely goodies) was a black envelope containing my invoice.  Everything was well wrapped and placed very neatly so I'm definately really happy about that.  Anyway, on to my goodies!

So I bought 2 sets of nail polish; pastel pack and ice cream pastel pack.  Each set comes with 3 nail polishes.  The pastel back contain the colours lime green, fuzzy peach and feeling blue.  (Cute names, huh?)  The ice cream pastel pack has lilac dream, pastel pink and lemon meringue.  I also bought a few nail polishes just on their own and not in a set; nude beige, top turquoise, misty grey and pearly queen.  Here's a pic to show you my lovely goodies!

Think I better end my first post here before it gets any longer! Lol.  I'll hopefully get round to doing swatches and further reviews soon!

Byebye for now! ^_^
